Beyond immediate production goals, our vision extends to building a repository of knowledge through our NCALab. This initiative was born from the Install AWE projects with the intent to establish our own physical assembly hub. The lab is a strategic move to prepare for future challenges and opportunities in gigawatt-scale AWE assembly, underscoring our commitment to translating theoretical insights into practical solutions.
Breaking New Ground: The PrometH2eus Project
In our pursuit of innovation, material development is crucial. The PrometH2eus project, another facet of H2Giga, focuses on anode development for alkaline water electrolysis (AWE). As an industrial partner, we provide vital guidance on upscaling and industrial perspectives, collaborating with renowned academic institutions such as RWTH Aachen, CAU Kiel, and TU Berlin. Our role involves testing materials and driving forward the development of efficient anode electrodes, ensuring that innovation aligns with industrial applicability.
Reflecting on the Past: NextH2
While our gaze is firmly set on the future, understanding past projects like NextH2 offers valuable insights. Completed in February 2024, this project centered on advancing diaphragm technology, exploring high-performance materials that enhance mechanical and chemical stability. Although concluded, the knowledge gained from NextH2 feeds into our broader strategy of component diversification and development, setting a solid foundation for future innovations.
