The facilities enable the qualification of membranes, coatings, and alternative materials, as well as the investigation of different operating conditions and new design approaches. In this way, optimization potential can be identified and technical solutions developed that can be transferred directly to industrial customer plants.
One focus is on optimizing our NaCl-ODC and HCl-ODC technologies. The test programs help reduce energy consumption, increase plant availability, and extend the service life of key components. At the same time, specific customer requirements can be replicated and practical solutions developed.
With the test facility in Gersthofen, we are laying the foundation for the continuous advancement of our technologies and strengthening our position as one of the world’s leading providers of chlor-alkali technologies.
