Thilo Staedtler

Thilo Städtler serves as the Executive Director of Green Hydrogen at thyssenkrupp nucera AG & Co. KGaA. In this role, he holds overall responsibility of the green hydrogen business, while also leading global business development and sales activities.

Thilo began his professional career in the in-house management consulting of thyssenkrupp AG. He advanced to the position of Principal, where he led teams and managed worldwide engagements in industrial products, EPC-business, and capital markets.

Prior to his current role, he was Senior Director Strategy and M&A at thyssenkrupp nucera. He was responsible for shaping the global business strategy, overseeing market intelligence, managing the program management office and the global M&A activities. His strategic leadership was instrumental in concluding several M&A deals, including the acquisition of key assets from Green Hydrogen Systems in late 2025.

He holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Mannheim, Germany, and a Bachelor of Business Administration from University of Vienna, Austria.
