Dr Dominik Bergs has a background in chemical engineering from TU Dortmund in Germany and completed his PhD in plant and process design in 2013. He has over twelve years’ experience working in the chlor-alkali electrolysis industry.
From 2013 to 2017, he held pivotal roles in process engineering, planning and coordination for electrolysis plants, devoting an extensive period to on-site commissioning management and consultancy.
He then served as a Service Manager from 2017 to 2023, providing consultancy and support to electrolysis plants across Europe, Saudi Arabia and Qatar.
In 2024, Dr Bergs took on a leadership role within the Service Products Group at thyssenkrupp nucera’s German branch.
