Dr. Daniel Krekel holds a Ph.D in Mechanical Engineering from RWTH Aachen and gained 10 years of experience in Research and Development across various industries as well as Consulting. He accompanied project and team management positions in product development, innovation management and product care.

In his role as Director Chlor Alkali Development and AWE Diversification he steers thyssenkrupp nucera’s development of the heart of the electrolyzer, the cell and components like coating and separator.
