After graduating magna cum laude in Law from the University of Rome “La Sapienza” in 2001, Ms. Bertini began her career at leading international law firms in Brussels and Milan before joining the legal department of BG Italia S.p.A. in 2010. In 2012, she moved to De Nora, where she has since played a central role in all major strategic and transformational transactions of the Group, including the partnership with thyssenkrupp and the establishment of thyssenkrupp nucera, the acquisition of Severn Trent’s water technologies businesses (2015), the entry of Blackstone into De Nora’s shareholding structure (2017) and its subsequent exit in favor of Snam S.p.A. (2021), De Nora’s listing on the Italian Stock Exchange in 2022, as well as her active involvement in the development of Italy’s ‘Gigafactory’ for electrolyzer production. She is an expert in corporate law, M&A, and corporate governance. Selected in 2023, 2024 and 2025 by Italian legal directories among the 50 most inspiring women in the Italian legal sector for inclusion and diversity.  Named in 2025 in the Legal 500 General Counsel Powerlist – Italy, a prestigious recognition that celebrates her leadership and strategic vision.
