Mr. Kuhlmann has been active in thyssenkrupp’s electrolysis business since 2013, which today operates under the name thyssenkrupp nucera. He has contributed to the development of a proprietary alkaline water electrolysis technology, building on the company’s world-leading chlor-alkali expertise. Following the successful market launch and the delivery and installation of the technology at customer sites in 2024, he transitioned into business development for the technology.

With over 25 years of experience in electrochemistry across academic and industrial roles, Mr. Kuhlmann holds a degree in electrochemical technology, having studied in Göttingen, Dortmund, and Newcastle upon Tyne.
