Ms. Seiffert finished her PhD in 2016 in Chemistry with focus on coating development for semiconductors for solar water splitting at the Ruhr-University Bochum. She started her carrier in 2017 as a supplier quality manager for optoelectronic semiconductor parts at HELLA in Lippstadt, Germany. In 2021 she joined thyssenkrupp nucera as development engineer for coatings for alkaline water electrolysis and leads the coating qualification team in the research and development department in Dortmund since 2025.
