Axel Werthmann leads the Revamp Group in the Service Dept. for Chlor-Alkali and HCl technologies at thyssenkrupp nucera. With nearly three decades of experience in process engineering, plant modernization, and technical project execution, he is an expert in optimizing electrolysis systems. Prior to his current role, he served as Senior Process Engineer where he led international revamp projects, HAZOP and plant commissioning. Axel holds a degree in Process and Energy Engineering from the Technical University of Berlin. By applying his deep technical expertise and fostering cross-functional collaboration, Axel contributes to advancing engineering solutions across various business units.
