Ulf Bäumer 

Ulf Baeumer is the Senior Director of Service and Digitalisation at thyssenkrupp nucera.

Mr. Baeumer finished his PhD in organic electrochemistry at the university of Münster before he joined thyssenkrupp in 2004. He was active and held various positions in the fields of Process, Plant Commissioning, Innovation, Service and Sales within the electrolysis technology until 2016. After that, he worked in the petrochemical sector, where he was overlooking a technology unit before he was appointed Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of thyssenkrupp Uhde’s Indian branch between 2019 and 2021.

In 2021 he rejoined the electrolysis business of thyssenkrupp nucera assuming responsibility for R&D, Service & Digitalization for both, chlor-alkali and green hydrogen as well as for tk nucera’s recently acquired SOEC business.

He is presently responsible for Service & Digitalisation for the tk nucera group.

Ulf Bäumer is married and has two children.
