Dr. Randolf Kiefer

Dr. Randolf Kiefer is Head of Electrolyzer Service Chlor-Alkali at thyssenkrupp nucera.

Dr Kiefer graduated in Chemical Engineering in 1995 and received his doctorate from the University of Karlsruhe in Germany in 1999. Dr Kiefer has about 26 years of experience in the field of chlor-alkali electrolysis. He started his career as process engineer with the engineering and commissioning of several plants before moving into electrolyzer development gaining extensive experience in all aspects of chlor-alkali technology and membrane cell operation.

He has been in the service business since 2009 and took over the position as head of electrolyzer service in 2015. His responsibilities include technology service for key customers world-wide as well as various sales and service activities for supply of thyssenkrupp nucera’s proprietary equipment. He also serves as a global C/A Technology expert and supports all thyssenkrupp nucera regional entities.
